Retractable Sunshade for Tesla Model Y Juniper FAQ
1. Why is a sunshade necessary for the Tesla Model Y glass roof?
While Tesla’s panoramic roof has UV tinting, it still absorbs significant infrared heat in summer. Tesla glass roof hot head are common because the glass can radiate heat directly onto passengers. Yeslak retractable sunshade adds a physical thermal barrier, keeping the cabin significantly cooler and more comfortable than glass alone.
2. Is this sunshade compatible with the 2024-2026 Model 3 Highland and 2025+ Model Y Juniper?
This sunshade was custom-molded for the new Model Y Juniper (2025-2026) and is not suitable for the Model 3.
3. How does the sunshade help with Tesla "Cabin Overheat Protection"?
Many owners worry about their Tesla's Cabin Overheat Protection triggering frequently, which drains the battery. By blocking up to 90% of thermal heat, Yeslak sunshade keeps the interior temperature below the trigger point longer. This means your Tesla stays cooler naturally, saving battery life for driving.
4. Does it sag in the middle like traditional foldable mesh shades?
Unlike cheap mesh shades that droop over time, our retractable design uses reinforced aluminum side rails and a high-tension spring system. This ensures the fabric stays perfectly flat and taut, even after years of use.
5. Is the installation "non-destructive" for leased Teslas?
Absolutely. Yeslak sunshades feature a snap-on design, and installation takes only about 15 minutes. Removal is also very easy, leaving no marks on the headliner.
